Beattyville Bourbon & Moonshine Festival

A festival in Beattyville, Kentucky,  near the Red River Gorge,
for bourbon & moonshine lovers!

Ya Can't Have Bourbon without Moonshine!

Fire up the Stills! Fall Date for the BAM Fest has been set!

Bourbon & Moonshine Festival Returns! Saturday, September 27th to the Beattyville Town Square!
We’re proud to continue the tradition of the Beattyville Bourbon and Moonshine Festival this year! While Main Street continues to recover from the February flood, we’re planning a scaled-back version for this years event that still celebrates our rich heritage and community spirits.

Please note: Due to limited access to electrical sources, this festival will feature only FOOD VENDORS, MOONSHINE TRAIL BOURBON & MOONSHINE drink booths & MOONSHINERS MEET & GREETS (but not regular retail vendors) — so you can still count on plenty of food, fun, and flavor all around Town Square While you’re here for the festival, if you’re in the mood to shop, we encourage you to stop in one of our Main Street businesses. They’ve weathered a lot over the years and would be truly grateful for your support!

New activities we are adding this year (see below for more details):
  • Before heading to the festival, take a drive at your own pace around the Moonshine Trail RRG Loop section. Stop a collect the three stamps, then come to the festival and enter to win prizes!
  • Poker Run with Backroads of Appalachia for classic cars and motorcycles around the Moonshine Trail RRG Loop.
  • A “Still Show” showcasing the incredible craftsmanship of still builders.
  • The Moonshine Jug Art Show & Contest is all about celebrating artistry, humor, and tradition. Decorate it, paint it, carve it, or turn it into something wild—we want to see YOUR jug!
  • BAM Fest Car Show  - Enter your Classic Car, Truck, Rat Rod, Motorcycle in the car show! Awards & Prizes plus prime parking to the festival.
